Criterion Launches Free Portal for Filing of ACA forms
Allows filing of required ACA forms in three easy steps at no cost
October 18, 2015 — Criterion has added many new features to its HR, payroll and recruiting solution, but there is an upcoming feature you won’t need to buy the software to use: EzFileACA.com, a free service that makes it easy to file affordable care act forms 1094 and 1095. The announcement was made at the 18th Annual HR Technology Conference and Exposition that starts today in Las Vegas.
“We are excited to announce this free service to anyone worrying about ACA filing,” says Sunil Reddy, Criterion CEO. “We found many vendors did not have this functionality, so when we decided to add it to Criterion we saw no reason to deny non-customers the benefits of using it.”
Stop by the Criterion booth (#2741) if you would like more details. EzFileACA.com will allow any U.S. employer with 50 to 5,000 employees file these forms in three easy steps. You can upload an Excel spreadsheet file, generate all the required PDF forms and transmit the filing to the IRS. Criterion users will also be able to do this right within their Criterion HCM application. Criterion customers will find that available data for the forms is automatically auto-filled by the software.
Reddy notes this is a tremendous value for midmarket companies because it streamlines the filing. Electronic filing of these forms is mandatory for companies having 250+ employees.
